This is the overseas cap of General Melvin Zais, a veteran of World War II and Vietnam. The cap bears his 3 star Lieutenant Generals rank and Para glider patch. This overseas cap is visible in several photos of Zais which we have included here. Melvis Zais was born on May 8th, 1916, in Fall River, Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1937. He joined the U. S. Army prior to WWII and during
